Occupation: Kotaro is the son of a wealthy software designer, and is tutored and taught by a personal teacher. He lives in his fathers mansion and can usually be found at the library, an internet cafe, or is seen at the mall in life. When not there, he is in Accel World.

History: Kotaro was born too a Wealthy software designer family with his Twin Sister, Sera, and brought up without any social interaction besides her. He was taught in his fathers mansion by a private tutor and used his Neuro-Linker to talk with people outside. He would seldom visit outside places, but found reading at the library, the mall, and internet cafe's interesting. He even began to build his own software in his Spare Time. When he reached the age of 16, his father presented him the Brain Burst program, and Kotaro entered the Accel World, accompanied and taught about it by his father, who was a part of the Red Legion. Kotaro told his father he would join in time. He was then told Sera had joined at the age of 14, and was a part of the Blue Legion. Kotaro cared dearly for his sister, however, a rivalry between them had grown since she was the favorite. So he decided he would join the Red legion to combat the Blue, and find her. To do so, he vowed to become the leader of the Red legion and use its sources and armies to achieve his goals and find Sera.
