Ability:
-Absorbs Mana/Element Based Attacks
Each katana can be coated with mana by the user or absorbs from incoming mana attacks. (Lasers, Fire, Ice, Electricity etc) The Blade used this energy to make itself more formidable and increase damage output. This decreases the durability of the weapons in the process. It also takes on the role of the element attack it absorbs. The mana coated on by user enables the extension/retraction ability. The mana absorbed from non-element attacks just increases damage output while weakening the durability of the blade.

Basically there are 6 katana's type swords. Three per claw. The weapon is not a claw itself, but comes with gauntlet like extensions on the wrists of the mech. Claws go forward, but these weapons can be directed in various positions depending on the user. It can be used as a claw (attack weapon), shield, or shield.

Weakness(s):

The weapons lose durability and become fragile during mana absorbed attacks.. Therefore in the normal state (not mana filled they are breakable.) Too much mana input can result in the blade breaking. Mana above 200% of the original owner Mana results in the breaking of a katana. The blades are breakable, easier to break through the activation of ability.

I love the concept, but do different manas also grant different abilities? And is a mana level of 200% of original the only way for these to break or is there some other way? Another thing is I think that the Idea of them being able to disconnect from the body is pretty OP'd as in you can have six different weapons used at once. Maybe the disconnecting can be used as a weapon upgrade at a later time but as it stands that is too powerful for a base skill. Just fix those aspects and you're good to go.

Yeah I figured it was OP. I just didn't know if Weapon Upgrades existed and if they did where to find them.

As for the blades breaking they can break even without the mana. That's just another way to break them. A mana over 200% is just double of my own Mana. Right now its 100 so 200 would do the trick. The blade aren't fragile, but they aren't all powerful. They can break just like any normal blade even with mana filled. Attack Power makes the defense weaker. (Thats the concept, there not toothpicks though.)

As for the Mana yes and yes. The user's mana is one ability, but the opponents mana in itself is usually channeled into an attack or element. The attack if only mana based is drained to a certain extent or weakened. The blade doesn't take on that ability, but if its element related yes.

I will fix it up.
